Mid-Week Update from St Johns
Date: April 1, 2020
I hope this email finds you well and coping with not getting out and about
enough; my main reason for emailing is to send on the next instalment of
Sally’s trip to Winchester, please find below. Thanks so much to Sally,
for extending the scope and including a bit of history with the diary,
making it a really interesting read.

You can keep in touch with Stephen’s services on:-
And Rob’s music on:-
The choir is in the process of making their first virtual recording, so –
fingers crossed – this should shortly be available.
In the meantime, Stephen asked me to pass on that the BBC are broadcasting
Choral Evensong, should you wish to hear it, here’s the link:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/ – If you type in ‘Choral Evensong’, there is a
choice so please do enjoy listening to them.
On a slightly different note, my older son came home from school the week
before last with the ‘UK Maths Trust maths challenge’, to see if I could do
it – Now, I know this won’t appeal to all, but Richard T and I have been
working our way through it and have really enjoyed it, so if you fancy
setting your grey cells a bit of a challenge, I thought I might attach it.
In fact, Richard, I’ve found the link to past papers –
https://www.ukmt.org.uk/competitions so I think we have a good few weeks
of problem solving to enjoy.

And for those who thought that was a terrible idea, here’s an uplifting
picture of blossom in Richmond Park.
Please do keep in touch, and especially let Stephen, Rachel, Graham or me
know if you need any help with anything.
