St John’s Winter Craft Fair.  We are planning to have a craft fair in late November to raise money for St John’s.  We’ll set up some crafting sessions beforehand to make Christmas cards, wrapping paper, tree decorations etc and will also be selling jams/cakes and so on.  If you were planning to throw away your 2018 Christmas cards but haven’t yet, could you possibly bring them into church so we can use them to make cards for next year.  Thank you!

Church of England Children’s Society – Many thanks to our 32 Box Holders. In 2018 we raised a total of £1,033.53, which goes towards fighting childhood poverty, harm, abuse and neglect. Our Box Holders commitment is vital and we urgently need some new ones as we are losing 2 this year. If you would like to become a Box Holder, please contact Mark Liversedge on 07803397317 or speak to one of the wardens.

St John’s Electoral Roll. This year all churches have to prepare their electoral rolls from scratch. If you wish to be included on our new roll you must complete and return an application form even if you were included on the old roll otherwise we cannot include you. Forms are available with the service sheets and will also be sent by email to those on the old roll for whom the Church has email contact details. The closing date for applications will be 13 March. However it would be helpful if completed forms could be submitted by 21 February as, following that date, it will be necessary to post a form to anyone on the old roll who has not yet submitted an application and for whom the Church has no email contact details. Thank you!
