Insurance Officer for the Wimbledon PCC – We are looking for a new Insurance Officer for the Wimbledon PCC. The IO has oversight of insurance matters relating to the four Churches and associated properties, and acts as liaison between “us” and our insurance company and broker. Responsibilities include (a) handling/coordinating insurance claims made against us and that we are making, (b) advising wardens and the PCC generally on insurance-related matters and coverage and (c) handling annual policy renewals and obtaining approvals from the PCC. In addition, the IO serves as a Trustee of the Wimbledon PCC and in that capacity attends quarterly meetings of the PCC. The role ideally requires some insurance-related background but formal sector experience is not a pre-requisite. The PCC retains the services of a broker who has the specialist knowledge of and advises the IO on the ‘nuts and bolts’ of policy matters.
Any inquiries should be sent to the parish office at firstname.lastname@example.org
