Saturday 19th October 6.30pm – Seraphim which is directed by Rob Mingay-Smith St Johns Director of Music will be performing the luscious, tempestuous and passionate Brahms’ Liebeslieder Walzer alongside music from their EP ‘Three Messages’. Music on the EP includes Rob’s own set of 4 pieces dedicated to his nephews and nieces who will all be at the concert to hear it live for the first time. At the time of writing ‘Of Such is the Kingdom’, Georgina-Leigh was not born… so when she appeared I wrote her a lullaby which will be premiered at this concert. I’m hoping her ears might prick up as I sing it to her a lot and first sang it to her to help her sleep when she was only a week old!

You can buy tickets on Eventbrite here: by typing ‘Seraphim’ into ‘search events’ or on the door for £10.

Creche volunteers We are in need of further volunteers to supervise the creche as some of our regular volunteers are unavailable for a few months.  It is not an onerous job as the parents of young children will be present in any event, but it would be very helpful  to have more adults available for a short while as 2 volunteers cannot cover every Sunday in the month.  If you could assist please contact Angelina Bulmer or Charlotte Lawrence-Smith.
