Evensong – my thanks to all who came, sung, read and provided refreshments at the first of our new Evensong services. It was a great success. A recording is available online https://bit.ly/33nbX8y. We now hope to hold Evensong on a (roughly) a monthly basis, usually on a feast day – the next two are planned for Candlemas (2nd Feb) and Passion Sunday (29th March). However, if you have strong opinions on this, and would like to hear Evensong here more regularly, then do make your views known to the Vicar, the Wardens or the Director of Music!
Holy Communion during the week – something I hoping to institute is a regular service of Holy Communion starting in Advent, and the clock is now ticking! However, I am also keen to find a time where people might best attend. After consulting with the Rector, some options – Monday or Tuesday afternoon or early evening or Wednesday early evening? Another option would be not to have a set date each week but instead to hold a service as and when on each relevant saint/feast day. Please let me know your thoughts..
