Academy Choir Wimbledon Concert

The programme includes works from some of the most preeminent choral composers of our country’s history from John Taverner (c. 1490-1545) to Sir John Tavener (1944-2013).  The choir will also be performing pieces by Thomas Tallis, William Byrd, William Walton, Hubert Parry, Edward Elgar, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Benjamin Britten, both unaccompanied and alongside our Academy Brass and organ.
