*Face-coverings in Church
*
Please do consider wearing a mask/face covering when attending church. The
Church of England has not yet made this a requirement when attending
worship, but I suspect this might be announced in the near future.*

*Do consider attending our time of Private Prayer tomorrow, where Rob shall
be playing the organ as below:

10.15: J. S. Bach – Schmücke dich, o liebe Seele, BWV 654 (Choral
Prelude)

10.30: Improvisation on a hymn

10.45: C. M. Widor – Cantabile from *Symphony No. 6*

*Evensong

*I shall be preaching at St Mary’s during their online service of Evensong
at 6:30 pm, and you can tune in via Youtube
or Zoom.

*Sir John Perring

*Sir John’s funeral will be held in church at 10:30am on Tuesday 21st. Due
to present COVID regulations, only close family are able to attend the
service, but we hope to have an audio recording of the service up on our
Soundcloud page by the end of the day.

*O ETERNAL Lord God, who holdest all souls in life; We beseech thee to shed
forth upon thy whole Church in Paradise and on earth the bright beams of
thy light and heavenly comfort; and grant that we, following the good
example of those who have loved and served thee here and are now at rest,
may with them at length enter into the fulness of thine unending joy;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.*

*Daily Online Services*

I’ve been able to offer at least one service online each day since about
March 19th, and whilst the Spirit is willing, the Flesh is weak! There
shall be a brief pause in Daily Prayer being put online from the 23rd-30th
July, which also means we shall sadly miss the Feast of St James on the
25th.

However, do not let this quash your zeal! You can continue to read – we’re
going through the story of Samuel at the moment – online via the Church of
England Daily Prayer app, or via the traditional option on their website
here

With kind regards,

Stephen
