Wed 26th Feb, Ash Wednesday: Morning Prayer (BCP), 9:30am; Holy Communion with Distribution of Ashes, 8pm. Come to this meditative and sombre evening service which marks the beginning of Lent.

Fri 28th Mar 1pm. Rebecca Bell soprano Anthea Fry piano Music by B. Britten. Refreshments including coffee and homemade cakes are available before each recital from 12.30pm. There is a retiring collection.
Sunday 1st March – The First Sunday of Lent. In addition to our 8:30 and 10:15 services, we shall be having an experimental Toddler Service in front of the high altar at 9:30am.
Sunday 8th March – If you are a child, young person or a parent and would like to read or offer intercessions at this service, please drop Stephen an email.
FEASTS & FESTIVALS – Shortened BCP Holy Communion with homily for the Eve of St Joseph, Wed 18th March, 5:30pm, and for The Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Wed 25th March, 2pm, with The Rev’d Anne Cocking (Holy Trinity, Motspur Park) as our celebrant and preacher.
Sat 28TH Mar 5pm, “MARK’S GOSPEL LIVE” The Rev’d Joseph Morris – a former actor – has performed his one-man show in hundreds of venues in the U.S., U.K. and Canada, including Southwark Cathedral in 2016. This is a superb way for anyone of all ages to prepare for Holy Week on April 5th. (Joseph is coming a long way to perform for us – please do put it in your diary and invite a friend!) Admission: suggested donation of £10. 2hrs with interval.
RIP NIGEL RICHARDS: 11am, Mon 23rd Mar 2020,Thanksgiving Service in Winchester Cathedral with a short reception afterwards with drinks and nibbles. All welcome. Please let Christine Richards know if you would like to come, to give an idea of numbers. email@example.com
THE WINTER NIGHT SHELTER: Max Austin & Annalisa Zisman urgently are looking for volunteers to help on Saturday evening/night/Sunday morning at St Mark’s Hall from 14th Mar to Apr 25th. VISIT TO THE CLINK, Wed Mar 11th – Join Catherine & Ursula & other supporters of the Prisoners’ Education Trust at lunch in the Clink Restaurant in High Down Prison near Sutton. SOULSCAPE, Thurs 5th Mar at St Matthew’s. There will be music chants from 7.30pm for those who would like to come early to pray. The service will begin at 8.00pm and last for around 45 minutes. Everyone is welcome.
