This latest oratorio in the Jesus of Nazareth Cycle by Andrew Edwards presents in words and vivid music the story of the ministry of Jesus in Galilee and Jerusalem – his life as teacher, worker of miracles, healer, prophet and Messiah – as told in the four gospels.
Earlier oratorios in the Cycle, The Easter Story (2010) and The Christmas Story (2015), were performed at St John’s by the Academy Choir & Orchestra, which Andrew Edwards founded in 1980 and conducted for 36 years.
