Fit for the Future

The Future of St John’s: An Invitation to Our Community

Wednesday 4 November 2026, 6.30pm–9.00pm

We warmly invite everyone in our local community to join us at St John’s for an informal evening of music, refreshments and conversation about the future of our much-loved church building.

St John’s has been part of the Wimbledon community for over 150 years. We are now making plans to ensure that this beautiful historic building remains welcoming, accessible and useful to the whole community for generations to come.

Alongside its continuing role as a place of worship, we hope to develop its potential as a venue for concerts, community events and gatherings, creating a space where everyone feels welcome.

Please join us on Wednesday 4 November to hear more about our plans, share your thoughts and discover how you can help shape the future of St John’s.

The evening will include musical entertainment from The Dominic Alldis Jazz Trio, together with light refreshments.

Everyone is welcome, whether you attend St John’s regularly, occasionally, or have never visited before.

It would be helpful if you could let us know if you are planning to attend by emailing admin@stjohnswimbledon.co.uk, but please do come along anyway.

St John the Baptist, Spencer Hill, Wimbledon SW19 4NZ

We look forward to welcoming you!
