Special Events

St John’s is an ideal place for a variety of special events. Church life is varied and busy but we actively encourage enquiries from, among others, schools, colleges and universities for awards ceremonies; publishers for book launches; production companies for filming (subject to approval of the script material); event organisers for lecture series; artists for installations; recording artists and schools for all-day workshops, especially music.

All enquiries are subject to a check with regard to suitability of the venue and passed to the church committee for approval. There may be occasions when we are not able to meet the technical and production requirements or the amount of time required for rehearsal, but we always do our best to accommodate those who wish to hold events in the Church.
